Surge of Ambition

People always told me that when you have a child, it will change your life dramatically. Of course, I believed this nonsense, but I didn't really understand just how true it was until I held my first daughter in my arms. She was so tiny and helpless. I was overwhelmed.

I have to protect this beautiful little person. She is completely dependent on me.

At first, I panicked, but then I felt an indescribable surge of ambition. I wanted to work insanely hard and become so successful that she would have everything she needs.

Guys who don’t have kids can’t really feel this. It’s proven that a man who has children is more successful. There’s just something about it that makes you stronger, makes you work like never before. And when I look at my two daughters, I get why.
