Lying

Lying

This is great to use after the "Eye Corner Shift" routine and similar ones, because it creates a win/win situation. If you do everything right, you come off as very intuitive. If you're wrong, you get a chance to teach her something interesting and learn something about her, too.

Tell me 4 things about yourself. 3 true and 1 that's a lie. I'll try to guess which one is the lie.

She tells you. You make your guess. Whether you're right or not, she's engaged and giving up info about herself. Then explain.

The main idea is that when a person looks to the right, they're constructing an idea, and when they look to the left, they're remembering something that actually happened. Since lying is a construction, people often access that part of the brain when trying to lie, and look to the right. Interesting?

You can also go from here into the "Eye Corner Shift" routine, or move on to a new routine like cold reading, or anything else you like.
